Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely getaway at this hotel, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to some excellent dining options. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety. However, trying to navigate out of the hotel during peak traffic was quite a hassle. Overall, it's a charming place with clean, comfortable rooms and great outdoor activities nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially during a minor hockey tournament. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and the breakfast options were impressive. The pool area kept the kids entertained, which was a huge plus. However, we did find the rooms a bit too warm for our liking, and the road access could be tricky at peak times.
The hotel had a lovely view and was right next to a beautiful walking path, which was a highlight of our stay. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but we encountered a musty smell at first and were disappointed with the breakfast options. Also, the hotel's lack of pandemic protocols and daily housekeeping made us feel uneasy at times.
We had a great family time here with awesome staff and an amazing breakfast! The kids loved the pool and the slide. On the downside, the mattresses were old, which made our sleep uncomfortable. Overall, a fantastic family spot, but they need to update the beds.
The hotel offers a lovely view and is conveniently situated near a beautiful walking path. While the room was spacious and comfortable, the musty smell and pandemic-related service issues were disappointing. The breakfast experience left much to be desired with limited options and insufficient distancing. Overall, the location is the highlight, making it a place I'd consider returning to.
The hotel provided a mixed experience with several positives alongside a few drawbacks. The amazing breakfast and clean, spacious rooms were great highlights. However, the uncomfortable mattresses led to poor sleep quality, and some guests caused disturbances around the pool area. While it offers solid amenities and free parking, a temporary incidental charge was confusing and unnecessary.
I had a mixed experience during my stay. The room itself was comfortable and spacious with a lovely view, but there was a musty smell that was somewhat off-putting. The location was great, near a scenic walking path, but they really need to address the breakfast situation, as it wasn’t good and lacked variety. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, but it could improve in a few areas.
I had a nice overnight stay at the Holiday Inn, which was conveniently located behind the small airport with no noise issues. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was nice and spacious, and the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxation. However, the breakfast was a bit repetitive, with the same options every day.
We had a great experience during our four-night stay with our family. The hotel was tidy and set in a mid-island spot, making it easy to explore different areas of Vancouver Island. Despite enjoying the pool and friendly staff, we were disappointed with the water slide being out of order. The only real downside was trying to turn left out of the hotel, which took forever due to heavy traffic. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the Comox Valley!
Overall, my stay at the hotel was quite positive. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and although the breakfast was not the best, it was decent enough to start the day. The amenities, especially the pool, added to the family-friendly vibe. However, the room temperature control could use some improvement, as it was a bit too warm for comfort.
The hotel was conveniently close to the restaurant and on the first ferry, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were equipped with all the necessities and had two queen beds, providing a comfortable stay. However, the dining options were limited to sashimi only, which might not suit all tastes.
The hotel is conveniently located on Cliff, within walking distance of lots of restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with 2 queen beds and a jacuzzi, providing a cozy stay. The service is top-notch, offering dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry. However, the dining options are pricey, and the facilities could be more modern.
The hotel offers a fantastic location with easy access to various restaurants and attractions. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, and the staff provides excellent service. However, the dining options may need some improvement, and certain amenities could be included in the price.
The hotel is conveniently located near a park for the kids and on Cliff, very close to the hotel's laundry area in the Valley. The rooms feature all the necessities, including 2 queen beds and a jacuzzi, offering a comfortable stay. The service is efficient, with options for dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry. The dining includes tasty toasted sandwiches. Despite these positives, the facilities could be improved, and the price may not fully match the value provided.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had all the necessities I needed, including a lovely jacuzzi. The service was top-notch, with excellent housekeeping and laundry services. The location was perfect, within walking distance of downtown and close to everything for shopping and exploring, even a park for the kids. However, the dining experience was a bit underwhelming with only raw fish offered. Overall, a great place to stay.
